Previously, we reported that some players were using the Dreams game creator on Playstation 4 to create projects based on various Nintendo IPs such as Mario and Donkey Kong.
However, it seems all of that may be coming to an end very soon, as Sony appears to be taking action against these projects at Nintendo’s request. In a series of posts on Twitter, Dreams content creator Piece_of_Craft revealed that he received an email from Sony saying that Nintendo had objected to his use of their IP in his Mario Dreams projects, forcing him to put all of them on hold.
Presumably, this means it is likely only a matter of time before all the other Dreams projects which use Nintendo IPs meet the same fate as Piece_of_Craft’s work, if it hasn’t happened already.
