Mario Vs Donkey Kong Developer Working On A Project Due For 2023

Nintendo Software Technology (NST), the company that ported Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker to Nintendo 3DS and is best known for the Mario vs Donkey Kong series, appears to be working on a new Switch project.

According to the LinkedIn profile belonging to NST artist John Lim, the artist is working on an unannounced game that is scheduled to launch in 2023. That’s roughly 5 years of development time.

Given that NST typically works on porting games, which do not require a 5 year development time, there’s speculation that the development company is working on something other than Mario vs Donkey Kong or a simple port.

What do you think NST is working on? Let us know in the comments.
