Last year, publisher 2k and developer Firaxis games announced Marvel’s Midnight Suns, a new tactical RPG featuring Marvel superheroes heading for Switch.
After several months without any major updates, the Australian Classifications Board has published their rating for the game. Interestingly, the board has chosen to give it a Mature rating, mainly for having “Moderate” violence and themes. While the rating may not be identical in other regions, it may come as a relief to any fans concerned about whether the game will be a good adaptation of its source material, which has typically showcased a darker side of the Marvel Universe.
Furthermore, the publication of the rating could also be a good sign that the game will be releasing in 2022 as planned, as it was previously pushed back from March 2022 to the “second-half” of the year to give it a bit more time in the oven. We will be sure to report back with more updates as they come.
