Masahiro Sakurai Celebrates Kirby’s 28th Birthday With A Message

Masahiro Sakurai, creator of Kirby and Super Smash Bros., has commented on Kirby’s 28th anniversary.

The creator posted the following picture and message on Twitter (translated by NintendoSoup):

“This year marks the 28th anniversary of Kirby. Kirby got its copy ability in the second game, and then the copy hat in the entry after. Until now, implementing these features is really troublesome..

There’s no choice but to do it for every new fighter that joins (Super Smash Bros. Ultimate).”
