As many Super Smash Bros. fans will know, the series’ creator Masahiro Sakurai has been producing his own YouTube videos – where he shares many of his insights on developing games and more. This week, however, the renown developer took a nostalgic dive back to one of the crowning jewels of his colorful career!
As you can see below, Sakurai has released a new video that takes a look at Kirby Air Ride, a Kirby racing game that released exclusively for GameCube. Namely, he shares about how the concept for the game came to be, some of the obstacles the project faced, and how it remains popular to date.
