Following the announcement earlier this year, Nintendo has officially ended its Gold Points program.
Players who buy digital or physical Nintendo games from now on will no longer be able to earn Gold Points on their Nintendo account. Previously earned Gold Points will still be valid until their expiration date, which is within 12 months form when they were earned. The last Gold Points earned from this program will expire by March 31st 2026. Players can check when their points will expire on my.nintendo.com/point/history.
