Are you an avid fan of the timeless Mega Man Battle Network series? Now you can finally try out a lost gem of the entire franchise!
Thanks to some hardworking folks at The Rockman EXE Zone, a full English patch for Rockman EXE 4.5: Real Operation (or Mega Man Battle Network 4.5: Real Operation) is now available for the very first time in history! According to the translation team, the patch also includes various improvements and fixes for the game’s original release.
For those out of the loop, the Game Boy Advance title (launched in 2004) never saw a release outside of Japan – and featured a more realistic take on the series’ Netnavi mechanic. Instead of controlling Mega Man or other characters directly, players can only select battle chips (i.e. weapons) for their characters to utilize. In a way, the game let players simulate the experience of having a Netnavi in real life!
