Capcom has announced a new mode called Rookie Hunter for Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 + 2.
Rookie Hunter is a mode built in mind for beginners and gamers who find the Mega Man X games too challenging. When playing in Rookie Hunter, damage received from enemies is halved. In the Mega Man X4 to X8 games, players won’t encounter instantaneous death from peaks and ravines either.
You can toggle Rookie Hunter anytime in the game and on the main menu.
