Metroid Prime 4: Beyond has received its rating from the Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB).
As seen on its Nintendo eshop page, the game has been rated “T” for “Teen” due to animated blood, violence, and in-game purchases. The latter is presumably referring to either a means to purchase Switch Online subscriptions and/or DLC being present in the game.
It is hoped that the release of this rating means that the game is still on track to release in 2025. Many fans have been concerned that the game could be delayed, mainly due to a lack of communication from Nintendo about the exact release date.
