It looks like Japanese viewers of Pokemon the Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution will get an awesome surprise with their movie.
CoroCoro has revealed that Japanese theaters will be distributing reprints of the ‘Ancient Mew’ TCG card along with the film. Originally, the promotional item was only available to those watching the Second Pokemon movie in 1999.
It’s not entirely clear what the differences between this reprint and the 1999 original will be. CoroCoro also did not elaborate how long The Pokemon Company would be holding this promotion for. We’ll report back if we hear more.
