Microsoft Announces Own Version Of Nindies Showcase: ID@Xbox Game Pass

It seems everyone wants to be Nintendo these days.

Right after Sony announced their own version of the Nintendo Direct, Microsoft has announced their own version of the Nindies Showcase. Dubbed ID@Xbox Game Pass, this live stream presentation will cover the latest indie games coming to Xbox game pass. According to Microsoft’s official announcement, the presentation will contain “new reveals, gameplay highlights, and conversations with the developers”.

The event is currently scheduled to go live on Tuesday March 26th at 9AM PDT. Interestingly, this will be the day after Sony’s State of Play Direct being held on March 25th. Microsoft has recently been quite cozy with Nintendo lately, particularly on the indie side of things. If there are any Switch related announcements during this new indie event, we’ll be sure to cover it here on Nintendosoup!

What do you think? Do you like this trend of the other big console players taking notes from Nintendo’s playbook? Let us know in the comments below.
