Mighty Fight Federation Adding Bloodstained’s Miriam As A New Fighter In Spring 2021

It looks like the wacky brawler Mighty Fight Federation will be getting some serious indie star power in the near future!

Publisher Forthright Entertainment and developer Komi Games have revealed that Miriam from Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night will be joining the 3D arena fighting game as a new fighter in Spring 2021. She will include her own themed level and remixed music track.

Here’s a brief trailer and some screenshots of how the character will look in the game:

Forthright Entertainment chairman and executive producer Ryan Waller also shared the following statement about the collaboration on the PlayStation Blog:

“Like our other licensed character guest stars such as Yooka-Laylee and ToeJam & Earl, Miriam comes with her own level and remixed music track. She will have one the largest movesets in Mighty Fight Federation, focusing on weapon and shard synergy, with many moves inspired by the entirety of the Bloodstained franchise. See her in action in the below trailer:

We worked with Bloodstained‘s famed creator, Koji Igarashi, and his team to ensure we did Miriam justice, from her unique design to her wide breadth of weapons and Shard abilities. Both myself and the game’s creative director, Jullian Spillane, are incredibly excited to see what fans of technical-style combatants are able to achieve come her debut later this year.”

Mighty Fight Federation is currently available on the European eShop for £22.49. It will be arriving on the US eShop sometime later in the future.
