Capcom has announced a remake of Resident Evil: Code Veronica.
The remake is simply titled Resident Evil Veronica, and will release in 2027 for Switch 2, PC, Playstation 5 and XBox Series.

Resident Evil Veronica, a remake of the beloved classic Resident Evil Code: Veronica, was announced for release in 2027 at Summer Game Fest! The next chapter in the iconic Resident Evil survival horror series features the return of fan-favorite heroine Claire Redfield and will release across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
Resident Evil Veronica will draw players into a desperate escape filled with horror and madness through the isolated, zombie-filled Rockfort Island. Developed on Capcom’s proprietary RE ENGINE, the game will introduce modernized gameplay with a chilling level of realism designed to push survival horror to new heights.
