Following the release of Minecraft‘s Steve for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, players have discovered a rather amusing but gamebreaking bug that can be pulled off with the character.
As documented and tested by Reddit user -BunsenBurn-, this bug allows Steve players to glitch their opponents through the floor by placing two vertical blocks with a gap in between them. For some reason, if an opponent breaks the bottom block, it will send them falling through the ground and off the stage.
Given how complicated Steve’s block mechanic was to implement, its not too surprising that there are some bugs still left in the system. Hopefully, Nintendo will release a patch to fix it soon.
