During today’s Indie World Showcase, Nintendo announced a new narrative adventure-sim from Meowza Games and Humble Games headed for the Switch!
The title, Mineko’s Night Market, will see players control a young girl called Mineko who has has just arrived at her new home on a struggling Japanese-inspired island at the base of Mount Fugu. Players can engage in a range of activities, form friendly relationships with residents and produce various items for the Night Market that takes place every week. Other activities are available too, including participating in processions, competing in cat races and showcasing talents on stage. Additionally, the island the game takes place on holds numerous enigmas to unravel and challenges to conquer.
