Today we have some interesting piece of news on Momotaro Dentetsu: Showa Heisei Reiwa.
Akira Sakuma, the creator of the Momotaro Dentetsu series, answered several questions asked by Momotaro Dentetsu fans on Twitter.
First, when asked about whether online play would be included in Momotaro Dentetsu: Showa Heisei Reiwa, Sakuma said it was under consideration and could not be confirmed at this time.
Second, Sakuma was asked about his relationship with Konami, as the series creator severed ties with the company in 2015 due to the way their company president treated the Momotaro Dentetsu series. Sakuma says his relationship with Konami is “good again” as someone “good” opened a direct line of communication with him.
Finally, when asked about a potential PS4 and PC port for Momotaro Dentetsu: Showa Heisei Reiwa, Sakuma replied his “hands are full” and the game will only remain on Switch at this time.
