Although originally announced as a Switch exclusive, Capcom has officially confirmed that a PC version is currently in the works.
The news comes via an interview with IGN Japan, where producer Ryozo Tsujimoto confirmed that a PC version of Monster Hunter Rise is planned to launch sometime in early 2022. According to Tsujimoto, this decision was made after listening to fans’ request for a PC version:
Tsujimoto: “We received a lot of requests for a PC version of Monster Hunter Rise, particularly from overseas players, and so we have decided to develop a version for PC, which we aim to release in early 2022. This is still under development, so I’d like to share more detailed information when the time is right.”
