Monster Hunter Rise’s Director Shares Cryptic Teasers For New Monsters

It looks like even more Yokai-inspired beasts will be haunting players in Monster Hunter Rise!

The game’s director Ichinose recently shared two cryptic images to tease at upcoming new monsters in the Switch title. At a glance, one of them resembles the Akugyo – a mermaid-like creature with a human head that has horns. Meanwhile, the second one resembles a Tengu with its long nose and leaf-like fan!

Hopefully, fans will get to learn what these creatures look like in the near future! We’ll report back as we hear more!

Monster Hunter Rise will be hitting Nintendo Switch worldwide on 26 March 2021.
