Capcom and Takara Tomy have revealed a new Monster Hunter X Transformers collaboration figure.
The figure is of “Rathalos Prime” a mashup of flagship monster Rathalos and Autobot commander Optimus Prime. As you might expect, the toy can transform between a monstrous Rathalos beast mode and a knightly robot mode. The robot mode also takes cues from Monster Hunter in the form of its weapons, which resemble a sword and shield as well as a switch-axe.
The figure is planned to release in Summer 2025. You can check out the preview trailer below (via IGN), as well as preview images (via AmiAmi) for a better look at the figure:
