Mortal Kombat 11 Developed With Unreal Engine 3

NetherRealm Studios’ Jon Greenberg, director of Mortal Kombat 11 graphics programming, has revealed an interesting fact about the game.

According to Greenberg, Mortal Kombat 11 is developed with Unreal Engine 3. Unreal Engine 3 is an older version of Unreal Engine. The current engine is Unreal Engine 4, which is compatible with Nintendo Switch.

Greenberg did not reveal the decision behind developing Mortal Kombat 11 with Unreal Engine 3, an older engine that will probably require more work to make the game run smoothly on Nintendo Switch.
