Barely a week after its release, players have discovered a game-breaking glitch in Mortal Kombat 11 across all platforms, including the Switch.
The bug involves the item called “Kenshi’s Blindfold”, which is used to discover hidden items in the Krypt. The item requires Soul Fragments to work, and breaks the game if used when the player has zero Soul Fragments. It will trigger an error message saying that there is an issue connecting to the servers, even if players have stable connections. This in turn prevents them from earning any rewards from the Krypt or completing the Towers of Time.
While there has been no official word from Netherrealm about this bug, several members of the Mortal Kombat community have published fixes for the error should it be encountered. It can also be avoided entirely by not using Kenshi’s Blindfold with zero souls. That said, hopefully Netherrealm will acknowledge the issue and put out a patch for it soon.
