Some new information about the upcoming Spawn DLC for Mortal Kombat 11 has been shared online today.
Firstly, Spawn’s creator Todd Mcfarlane shared images of a new Spawn action figure, as the figure uses his design for Mortal Kombat 11, this is our first full look at Spawn’s design for the game. It will be released in March 2020.
Next, Netherrealm published Spawn’s full character profile detailing his backstory and role in the game, which you can read below:
Al Simmons, once the U.S. government’s greatest soldier and most effective assassin, was mercilessly executed by his own men. Resurrected from the ashes of his own grave in a flawed agreement with the powers of darkness. Simmons is reborn as a creature from the depths of hell. A Hellspawn. Now he is thrust into the world of Mortal Kombat, where he will fight from supremacy against all Kombatants.
Spawn will release as DLC for Mortal Kombat 11 on March 17 2020, with a gameplay reveal scheduled for March 7.
