Players will soon have a new mode through which they can test their might in Mortal Kombat 11.
From tomorrow 18th June, Mortal Kombat 11 will be have a new ranked mode called “Kombat League”. Each “season” lasts four weeks, and players will have to fight their way to the top in ranked matches, rising from the lowly tier of Apprentice to the coveted Elder God tier.
For every rank players unlock, they will receive different in-game rewards which will be retained even if they drop out of the ranking later. Once a season ends, a new one will start immediately with a whole new set of rewards to earn.
Netherrealm has also confirmed that matchmaking will be optimized to match players according to skill level, and that there will be a special meter explaining their odds of winning against a given opponent before the start of each match.
