Multiple Nintendo Switch Games Copyrighted In China

A minor new development for Nintendo’s entry into the Chinese market has been made this week.

The Shanghai News and Publishing Bureau has published four copyright contracts for four Nintendo Switch games. The games are The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario Odyssey, and New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe:

Although the games have been copyrighted in China, it will still have to be approved by the authorities so there’s still a long way to go.

What do you think?
