The Pokemon Company has announced a special campaign running in Pokemon Center stores in Japan.
From September 5th to September 10th 2025, a “My Friend Malamar” campaign will be running across all Pokemon Center stores in Japan. The campaign claims to be about bringing the charms of “everyone’s favorite friend” Malamar to the world through in-store decorations and more. Some fans living in Japan have taken pictures of the campaign decor which you can view via the links below:
The reveal of this campaign comes after the cryptic Pokemon Legends Z-A teaser video featuring Malamar that was posted recently, which many are speculating is leading up to a new Mega Evolution reveal for the Pokemon. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
