Nintendo has announced a name change for the My Nintendo Store.

From May 27th 2026, the My Nintendo Store will be rebranded to just simply being the “Nintendo Store“. So far, this change has been confirmed for Japan, the US, Australia, and New Zealand. Presumably however, the stores in other regions will also be rebranded for synergy.

At the time of this writing, no explanation has been given for the name change, although its certainly a lot easier to say now. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
