New Datamine Leak Suggests That DC’s Joker May Join The Fortnite X Batman Event

Earlier this week, the Fortnite X Batman event finally went live – allowing players to duke it out in Gotham City and get Batman-themed gear. A deeper dive into the event’s files, however, may hint at more to come.

Apparently, dataminers have also discovered what appears to be a new gadget hiding in the game’s latest update. The asset appears to be based on The Joker, Batman’s life-long nemesis – and it resembles some kind of bomb that can be wall-mounted.

Some folks are currently speculating that we will see some sort of Joker-related development for the event soon. Whether or not the infamous character will appear to fight players (similar to Thanos) is currently unknown – but we’ll report back if we hear more!
