New Line Of Monster Hunter Glasses Launching Next Year In Japan

Need to add a dash of Monster Hunter pizzazz to your daily style? You might want to keep a keen eye out for these frames!

As part of the series’ 15th anniversary, Capcom Japan will be teaming up with spectacle company Megane Ichiba to release a set of Monster Hunter glasses (as seen above). Each one will run for about 16,500 yen, and are launching in Spring 2020 within Japan. The seven designs that will be available are:

  • Fatalis
  • Rathalos
  • Nargacuga
  • Tigrex
  • Zinogre
  • Brachydios
  • Velkhana

This isn’t actually the first time Capcom Japan has released such a bizarre yet stylish set of merch. In fact, it also released a set of Monster Hunter glasses 5 years back, when it was celebrating the series’ 10th anniversary. In any case, it looks like they were popular enough for this upcoming second wave to be greenlit!

What do you think? Would you buy one of these if you had the chance? Feel free to share your thoughts with us below!
