Nintendo has confirmed that Mario will be receiving a new balloon at this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade.

The balloon was designed for the franchise’s 40th anniversary, and depicts Mario in his classic overalls in a flying pose inspired by Super Mario Galaxy. It will appear during the parade on November 27th 2025.
