The GFK has published its list of best-selling retail games in the UK for the week ending May 1st, revealing just how well New Pokemon Snap performed for its launch in the region.
Within just two days, New Pokemon Snap managed to top the UK Retail Charts, selling over four times as many copies as the original Pokemon Snap for the N64. Other Nintendo titles on the list include Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, Mario Kart 8: Deluxe, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
In addition, according to GamesIndustry.biz head Christopher Dring, New Pokemon Snap was also the highest selling game at retail for the entire month of April period. This is of course an extremely astonishing feat for a game that was only released at the very end of the month.
