Media Create has published the latest sales data for the video game market in Japan from February 4 to February 10, 2019.
Last week’s bestselling video game was New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, which is very surprising as Kingdom Hearts III and Resident Evil 2 launched the week prior to last week. New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe moved 38,482 copies, bumping lifetime sales to 397,231 copies in Japan.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has sold over 2.8 million copies to date in Japan, after it sold 31,174 units last week. The game was No. 3 on the bestseller charts.
Last but not least, Nintendo Switch hardware sold 61,280 systems last week, about 70.4% of all hardware sold in Japan.
