New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe Sold 30% Better Than The Wii U Original In The US

Earlier today, the NPD released their video game sales data for the US market for January 2019.

One interesting note we would like to point out is New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe. According to the NPD, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe saw 30% higher launch dollar sales than New Super Mario Bros. U. Unfortunately we don’t have exact figures, but a 30% increase is a lot. The game debuted No. 3 on the bestseller charts for January.

Check out the full rundown on NPD’s January 2019 results here.
