To celebrate the franchise’s 25th Anniversary, The Pokemon Company will be introducing a new mechanic to the Pokemon Trading Card Game (TCG).
The new mechanic is called Pokemon VSTAR, and introduces new VSTAR Pokemon cards with unique VSTAR abilities. The first VSTAR card that will be released is Arceus VSTAR, which is set to launch in Japan January 2022 as part of the Star Birth TCG set according to PokeBeach.
