[UPDATE] March 18 Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX Patch Will Fix Game-Breaking Bug

The Pokemon Company has announced an upcoming patch for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX, which will fix a game-breaking bug encountered by players.

According to the announcement, the bug is triggered under a specific set of circumstances and apparently renders the game unplayable. Players who encounter the bug will be able to play again once the patch comes out on March 18.

Details of how the bug is triggered and how it can be avoided can be found in the bug’s changelog below:

Fixes a game breaking glitch that occurs in dungeons with a fixed party.

It occurs when the protagonist and their partner are defeated in the dungeon, and you remove the third Pokémon from your team. To avoid the issue, simply refrain from removing that third party member. If you already have, and cannot play anymore as a result, the update will allow you to play
