Wayforward has shared an update about the next installment in the Shantae series.

During this year’s Anime Expo, the developer revealed that the 7th Shantae game is coming in 2027. This news was shared alongside a new teaser image of Shantae with another alternate hairstyle, possibly hinting that the next game’s gimmick will involve changing hairstyles to access new abilities.
