Hardwork and dedication finally pay off as a team of dedicated Ni no Kuni fans has completed the first ever english fan-translation for the original DS game!
In Japan, today marks the launch date of Ni no Kuni: Dominion of the Dark Djinn DS game in 2010. Alas, it has since never seen a worldwide release. However, this has only tempered the fans’ will to release a full english translation for everyone to enjoy.
After 4 years of hardwork, the dream has finally been realized. The team managed to release a complete english translation of the game along with the 372-page spellbook. It really is an amazing feat as you may now play the DS version in all its glory.
To find out how it was done, head on over here. You may download the english patch and spellbook on the same link. Be warned though, since the patch is still on version 1.0, things haven’t been polished just yet. Closing your DS which then activates sleep mode creates issues that might mess with your save file.
