Bad news for Ni no Kuni fans – it seems that the Ni no Kuni animated movie, which debuted last week in Japan, has flopped hard.
According to the Japanese box office charts, the Ni no Kuni movie debuted No. 6 and grossed 140 million yen, or USD1.3 million. That’s less than half of what the fan-hated Dragon Quest: Your Story movie did in its first week, so things aren’t looking good for the Ni no Kuni movie.
