Niantic Employees Play Pokemon GO With Local Player Group On Community Day

A team of Niantic employees spent Pokemon GO Community Day together with local Chicago-based group DTC at Lincoln Park last weekend.

This was the first time Niantic employed a “boots on the ground” strategy and reached out to a local player group. The purpose of the visit was to test out in-game mechanics, network latency, and other things to make sure Pokemon GO Fest 2018 goes on smoothly this weekend.

What do you think of Niantic’s approach? Let us know in the comments below.
