Niantic Reveals More Details Of South Korea’s Pokemon Festa Event

As we reported earlier last week, an official Pokemon GO event is scheduled to take place in South Korea in November.

Niantic and The Pokemon Company have released more details about the Pokemon Festa 2017 event, which takes place between November 4 to November 12, 2017.

Contrary to our prior report, Pokemon Festa is a nationwide event taking place in the whole of South Korea, rather than just the Lotte World Mall in Seoul alone. Pokemon spawn rates in the country will be increased during the duration of the event.

From November 10 to 12 in Seoul (excluding the Lotte World Mall area), the Legendary Kanto Birds Articuno, Moltres, Zapdos, as well as Lugia will be reappearing in Raid Battles. Unown and Mr. Mime will be catchable in the wild at the same time.

It’s unclear what is going to take place at Lotte World Mall, so please stay tuned for more details.
