Nicalis Experiencing Issues With Cave Story+ Co-Op Update

A few days ago, a free local co-op update for Cave Story+ was supposed to begin distribution on Nintendo Switch.

Due to certain issues with Nintendo of America and Europe, the update is currently hanging in limbo.

According to Nicalis, the update was approved by Nintendo and scheduled to arrive on September 15. Since it’s now September 16 in both North America and Europe, we can definitely say that there are still some issues or problems going on that we aren’t aware of.
