On April Fools’ Day, Nicalis posted several jokes on their official Twitter account and revealed that one of the tweets they made is real.
One of the tweets posted by Nicalis on April Fools’ Day is an image of a Nintendo Switch physical release for Ikaruga. In the past, the company has shared pictures of boxart for upcoming games which later turned out to be real.

Now many Nicalis fans hope that the Ikaruga physical edition posted on April Fools’ is the real deal. This isn’t the first time they have teased a physical release for Ikaruga too.
We will have to wait and see what happens next.
