It’s currently unclear when these sneakers are going to drop, but House of Heat speculates the crossover of two 90’s icons might see a release on September 26th to coincide with Nintendo 64’s 23rd anniversary. It is also expected to be priced at USD 170.
Here are the details:
“The pair arrives anchored down in grey mesh, in reference to the console’s controller, it comes adorning matching upper overlays, laces and a mudguard glazed with all-over PLAY motifs. The 64’s 3D ‘N’ logo is honored through the splashed of green, blue, red and yellow throughout, colors which also match the vintage controllers buttons.
The silver tongue pulls rock three small dots — mimicking the control input slot on the console’s front — and the tongues displaying ‘POWER’ on the right and ‘RESET’. on the left — you guessed it, just like the 64. Completing the design is a graphic printed insole styled in an ESRB Game Rating icon and a Nintendo-shaped Air Max motif on the heels.”
