Ninja JaJaMaru: Yokai Night Parade Announced For Switch 2

City Connection has fully revealed Ninja JaJaMaru: Yokai Night Parade  the brand new game in the series made to commemorate its 40th anniversary.

The hack-and-slash RPG will release sometime in 2027 for Switch 2, PC, and Playstation 5. Check out the new trailer below, along with additional details:

Searching for the kidnapped Princess Sakura, JaJaMaru strays into an otherworldly dungeon. There, he discovers a Yokai Night Parade party where hordes of yokai are dancing and partying away!?

Defeat wave after wave of incoming yokai as you explore the dungeon in search of powerful equipment. With Ninja Swords, Kusarigama, Shuriken, and more, there are over 300 types of equipment to collect!

Pass through the glowing torii gates that appear inside the dungeon to enter the “Yokai Night Parade,” where you battle yokai under special rules! Challenge boss yokai as they lead massive hordes and show off their unique dance moves. Emerge victorious, and a wealth of loot awaits!?

As you clear dungeons, you’ll unlock a variety of Ninpo. Master these flashy, ultra-powerful Ninpo skills to sweep away hordes of yokai all at once. JaJaMaru’s familiar sidekick, Gama Pakkun, makes an appearance too!

At JaJaMaru’s room, which serves as your home base, you can power up your stats, upgrade your gear, and more. You can also decorate the room to your liking using furniture items acquired in the dungeons. Furniture items even grant stat boosts to JaJaMaru.

Once you’re fully prepared, head back into the dungeons! Factories, yokocho alleys, onsen, snowy mountains… formidable foes await you in every region. Defeat Nurari Pyoko, the Yokai Supreme Commander plotting the grandest Yokai Night Parade in history, and rescue Princess Sakura!
