Earlier this week, FromSoftware ran a closed network test of The Duskbloods, aimed at testing the game’s servers before the official launch.
Unfortunately, it seems that the first run of the network test did not go smoothly. In a statement on social media, FromSoftware issued an apology to fans for game server issues experienced during the test, saying that future closed network test dates will be announced at a later date after improvements have been made.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused to those who were waiting for the first The Duskbloods network test due to game server issues. We regret to inform you that today’s session is now closed. We will continue to work on improving the servers and will announce future schedules at a later date.
The original network test was initially announced to run over three days at different timings, so we can probably assume that the rest of the planned sessions for this weekend have been cancelled. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
