Nintendo And Tom Nook Are Encouraging Fans To Buy A Switch With Their Tax Refunds

It’s that time of the year again for many Americans, and Nintendo is out for some sales.

Nintendo of America recently posted a Tweet remarking on the annual season for tax returns, with a little Animal Crossing fun mixed in. Besides poking fun at Tom Nook’s propensity for money, however, Nintendo also made a sly advertising ‘wink-wink’ for the Switch.

As expected, Nintendo fans are having a ball with this bizarre tweet. Some even started joking about the release date of Animal Crossing for Switch.

If a Animal Crossing announcement does indeed drop during tax season, it would certainly be too serendipitous. For now, everyone should probably focus on sorting out their finances first.
