Nintendo Announces Virtual Game Card Feature

Nintendo has announced a new feature being added to the Switch ecosystem.

Starting late April, digital games purchased for the Switch will be transformed into “Virtual Game Cards”. These Game Cards will make digital games act like physical games, allowing players to play them on up to two different Switch consoles, as well as share games within their own Family Groups. Notably, this feature will carry over to the Switch 2 when it launches later this year.
