3 years ago, Nintendo kicked off the Switch Online Expansion Pack service, giving players access to Game Boy Advance, Sega Genesis, and Nintendo 64 classics along with DLC for select Switch games.
To celebrate the occasion, Nintendo sent out a special message to its subscribers. Aside from recapping what fans can enjoy with the service, they also hinted at more “excitement” heading their way in 2025.
Although its a very boilerplate message, it has sparked some excitement and speculation from fans, especially in light of the mysterious feature Nintendo is planning to have Expansion Pack subscribers test sometime soon. Stay tuned for more as it comes.
