By now, you’ll probably have heard about the growing shortage of Nintendo’s Ring Fit Adventure across retailers in Japan, Australia, and other nations. Well, the company still seems to be struggling to restock the game on shelves – and now its becoming evident stateside.
In a new statement to Polygon, Nintendo confirmed that the exercise-RPG title is now selling out across the Americas. Sadly, it could not confirm when more units of the game will be hitting retailers:
“The Ring Fit Adventure game is selling out at various retail locations in the Americas…We are working to provide more units as soon as possible and apologize for any inconvenience.”
Of course, much of this shortage is due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, which has most likely slowed down production of the game’s Ring-Con accessory in China. With the pandemic situation still looking volatile as of now, we’ll just have to wait and see when Ring Fit Adventure will become readily available again.
