Nintendo of America has confirmed the closure of the Nintendo DSi Library feature on Flipnote Studio 3D.
The Nintendo DSi Library was a feature that allowed users to download Flipnotes posted from Flipnote Hatena, an online sharing service for Flipnote Studio on Nintendo DSi. It closed on March 31, a few days before Flipnote Gallery: World’s closure in Japan.
Closure of the Nintendo DSi Library was a rather quiet affair. It affected the operations of Flipnote Studio fan servers such as Sudomemo, which relied on some infrastructure the Nintendo DSi Library utilized.
