Nintendo has announced how much money and sales it generated during the holiday season (October 2018 to December 2018).
According to the latest fiscal earnings report for 9 months ending December 31, 2018, the company generated 608 billion yen (USD5.6 billion) in revenue, a 26% increase over the same period in 2017.
Operating profit for the holiday season stands at 158 billion yen (USD1.5 billion), a 36% year-on-year increase. Nintendo’s strong performance during the holiday season could be attributed to Nintendo Switch and its strong library of games.
